Types of Work
- Shorts (Mini-stories)
Those are stories that has a defined ending and typically fits within 1 page. Excellent to add together to your art submission to give some context and make your scene stand out.
- Comic Scripts
A good comic can be ruined by bad dialog, let’s make sure you nail your comic right! There is no way to please everyone, but at least we can keep character and the narrative natural and nicely developed.
- Stories / Lemons
A story involves character development and can usually span multiple pages. The depth of this character development can be tuned during the commission agreement, the more elaborated and complex, more costly. A story can be broke down into multiple chapters, each one being an individual commission.
Classification of my work is not the same as classification of published work. All work should be classified according to your publishing platform. I'm happy to assist on that.
- G (General)
Stories under this rate will contain pure and non-offensive material. Suitable for consumption anywhere for anyone. Death and violence can only be here if the focus is not detailing the process of death in details (eg.: the gory details or violence).
- RTA (Restricted to Adults)
All stories depicting from suggestive behaviour all the way to detailing explicit sexual intercourse. Violence, gore details.
Restrictions: Due to local laws and regulations in Canada in which I'm subjected to, the following content won't be accepted: Cub, Feral, Rape (CNC excepted), support to hate crime and terrorism.
Since there is a fine line between Cub and "Look like cub but it's an adult character", I'm happy to take a look in your ideas, free of charge, before committing to work.
No questions asked
I take my commissioners privacy seriously. If you have an idea but are afraid to see if it's OK for me to work, I will take a look. If I refuse, I will explain why - and no questions asked.
Reason for that is kink-shame. Sometimes a harmless kink can be perceived as a reason for shame, and I don't want you to be uncomfortable around me.
Professionalism guaranteed. No leaked screenshots to Twitter.
All work is different. But here is roughly how the pricing works:
Base Price (Starts at)
- Mini-story: $75
- Comic: $75
- Story: $150
Extra charges may apply if
- The story requires investigation
- Continuing someone else or past work
- Continuity support: Typically for comics and multi chapter stories.
- Continuous work is involved: Typically when commissioning a story for a comic
- Reviews & modifications exceeding the agreement
I like to work on a case by case basis, there are no bad questions, just reach out to me and we will see what can be done. You will have the complete price formation before you decide to go or not to go.
50% on completion
In order to secure your work, a 50% advance payment of the total invoice is required after you accept the price and conditions. Work will not start until a deposit is made.
The remaining 50% shall be deposited on completion, in which I will release to you the final work.
Cancellation & Refunds
I normally don't work on multiple commissions at the same time, but in case there is a queue, you will know where you are.
If you cancel your commission before I start
Before I start consist: I have not start researching or writing your work: Full refund (minus processing fees from PayPal).
If you cancel your commission after I start
No refund on your 50% deposit. However, you will get all the work done - up to 50% of it's length. Cancelling before I reach 50% of it's progress do not entitle you to receive the equivalent of 50% of the agreed work. Cancelling after I passed 50% of the work will still cap you to receive only 50% of the work done.
Please note that 50% of the work done does not mean half of the text written. If I have to do researches to your story, that also constitute work.
If me, the writer, cancels it
I will give you the full refund. No work done will be returned to you. All previews made available to you are still subject to the Copyright & Attributions below.
In case you get part of my work, I will only resume it from where I left if it was me who cancelled it. For any other reason, I will resume as a "new commission" - with prices, conditions and extra surcharge to continue a work.
Copyright & Attribution
There are two types of copyright I work here:
1. Commission / Private & Leisure work (basically - for yourself)
- Attribution Non-Commercial Share-Alike 4.0 International
- You can
- Post this work anywhere
- Modify the work produced, remix and extrapolate
- As long as
- You don’t re-sell or incorporate in any commercial work (if you make money, that’s commercial)
- You credit me as the creator of the text
- You can
2. Commercial (you will make money with it, or incorporate in a product that costs money)
Different attribution and commercial usage are super fine! Some surcharges might occur. We will have to discuss this. I promise it won't be a nightmare :)
Copyright is a tricky one. All characters in the story are copyright of their respective holders, meaning, if you created: it’s yours. If belongs to a franchise, I will include the copyright notice in the footer of the text, if I created a whole character and developed it, I will be the holder of it's copyright unless we have agreed under a different term.
Do you have a skeleton for a comic? Or an idea for a nice story? Or maybe you want a mini-story in the description to accompany your art submission?
Viewers imagination are powerful things to explore! Pairs well with an existing art, or even no imagery at all!
Let's work together and create something new. You can hit me up through here or send me an email at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Check my TOS for pricing details. Spoiler alert: it's not that expensive!
The price in this Ad is roughly about 1,000 words (which gives you about 3 pages - font 11pt)
